How do you guys feel about the color selection as well as color placement to my model. I was looking around victorian architecture and the way color is placed on wooden elements corresponds with how i am doing it but i wonder if theres too much going on and the detail will be lost.
@ JFletcher - that building is just beautiful man, I would love to see a whole environment painted with that kind of finesse. As for your rendering issue, I assume it's Max you're using, if so go to the Render dialog and choose the Render Elements tab, then click Add and throw on just the diffuse - no more pesky specular.
