This isnt actually an error of any sort, because you have a slight curve in the corner there it is catching a highlight, this a good thing, not a bad thing.
Hi everyone! How to fix these errors? https://i.imgur.com/yFShj9M.jpg https://i.imgur.com/go1W05w.jpg https://www.artstation.com/artwork/D1Dne Thank you in advance!
How big is the screw going to be in the final model? If the shading error isn't going to show up when you bake the model, it's not anything to worry about.
Hello everybody. It is impossible to make the cylinder is circular in cross-section, there are errors in the form of protuberances. Prompt solution. It is desirable that the net may be the least dense. Thank you.
Hi, I am wondering what would be the best strategy to fix this ngon shading error given my model's shape. The main problem is that my ngon is not planar.
Hood scoop that extends just a bit over the hood without connecting. Error where they are connecting. How should I chamfer or what to get rid off? Danke!
The trouble is what if the model changes and you need to re-bake. Or change the UVs. Or optimize the mesh. Or anything at all happens? Now you have to paint out the errors again. It's not a good workflow.
I divided the parts of the sofa and did have a closer look at the arm rest.. one part almost is a triangle.. but it's also very curvy.. so lot's of trial and error because i didn't planed ahead a tiny little bit  .. the bulges are simple edges selecting and bevel with three segments and the innner one…
thanks Shinigami, the spiral technique helped quite a bit. The edge flow does give some smoothing errors using that method but for my object this isn't an issue since I will be covering it up in zbrush.
Hey! What's the best way of doing this? I suppose boolean is a bad method. I tried doing it manually, by moving around the vertices until it's a circle. But I just get a lot of errors. Thanks in advance!
