Not my best work :-\ but I figured Id post it anyways. This is a 1-hour sculpt done from scratch in Zbrush. Hes supposed to be some humble looking alien guy, with inspiration from the koopas in Mario and a few other dinosaur creatures.
Every model in the scene (with the exception of the trees (downloaded them from somewhere)) was done in under 1 hour. I know I suck xD! still pretty new though I suppose.
started lately doing 1 hour speed sculpts . starting from a sphere using dynamesh ( since im not comfy using this method ) got the timer and everything there should be more of that coming . hopefully :poly122:
Cool stuff everyone! Here's a couple zbrush doodles, about 1 hr on the bald guy, 30 min on the alien. Both were started from a sphere. I think I'm in love with dynamesh :)
Blah! Timelapse doodle. 1 hr. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7_HEl8pyww"]Zbrush Dynamesh Timelapse - YouTube[/ame] Weird...the board doesn't embed YouTube clips if they are from the shortened "share" url.
I need to get a good head base mesh so I don't have to start from a sphere. Here's 1 hour in zBrush. Still getting the hang of it. I'll be thrilled (and, frankly, really surprised) if any one can tell who it is.
I'm so intimidated by this thread and the awesomeness in it. I don't know how you guys can sculpt some of these models in 1-2 hours. Anyway, here's something that's related to a prop I'm making for work. Sculpted from a flat plane in about 3 hours. 3 1/2 hours if you count the 30 minutes I lost because i forgot to save and…
Compared to all of the rest of the work in here, my post is going to seem like trash, but its time to come out of the woods and start posting more regularly. Here's a 1 hour sculpt I did starting from a cube. This is my second sculpt ever, so any crits would be greatly appreciated :) Expect to see more sculpts from me over…
