This was about 3 to 4 ish hours... The rock looks nice, good hard surface stuff texturing. I wanna try out Sculptris more after looking at this thread.
raven great surface quality dont know how a feel about the horns, but i would love him forever if he had hair like this with the horns poking through -Woog:)
yo.. did a lil speed sculpt last night.. prolly 2-3 hours'ish.. which probably nullifies the "speed" aspect.. anyways..started from a Z-Sphere.. WTB more shapes.. may play w/ it some more too and apply surface texture.. peace
Yeah, the polishing in ZB tends to "depress" flat surfaces inward, you end up with inflated edges. I don't think there's a way around it sadly. But different settings / combinations of polishes, at different resolutions, tends to produce different results, some better than others at least
not really a sculpt, started a new project gonna be hard surface mostly but i wanted a female head base to build off of. 4 hours in maya 2010 without plugins. Neox: beautiful but you do the most incredible children man....and i mean nothing perverted by that -Woog
This is really impressive, just the complexity of the shapes you're creating really feels like a boolean without the penalty of unusable topology. I was looking at remesh tutorials online but they were inconclusive when it came to using it for hard surface modeling. Can you share a little info about your workflow?
