yeah, totally. for me it just feels odd using my real name online. I guess I feel that once I get a job it will be different, at least at sites like these.
Not to de-rail the thread, but I've always wondered why your surname is missing the two l's at the end, Adam. I'd use my real name if it didn't suck so much balls! -caseyjones
like skanker said, if you want to hold on to your old account and do the name change that way, i'd be happy to oblige. but you'd still log in with your old l/p, so that might just be too traumatic for you

No real drama, just wanted to drop the nickname. I held onto the name for a decade, a couple years ago I planned to drop it when we shipped UT3 as that had a nice sense of closure for me. Mostly because due to Id making Quake a decade back, I got the chance to make UT3 now and with that behind me, I don't see any need to…
[ QUOTE ] Gauss: Sure, go ahead k. [/ QUOTE ] done and done, also updated your new email to the old account as well. just log in with your old l/p and it'll display as Kevin Johnstone--this second account i gave an underscore since it won't allow duplicate names. cheers alpha: another bites the dust, i know
