[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] chai - what's the reasoning behind those vertices on the back of the shield? [/ QUOTE ] Not sure which you're reffering to ... [/ QUOTE ] on your wireframe there are cuts at the bottom point and along the top on either side that aren't adding anything to the shape.
looking good, pixelgoat. not too keen on the warning sticker, though. looks like you put wear and tear on it exactly like all the metal, instead of what would happen to a sticker/decal chai - what's the reasoning behind those vertices on the back of the shield?
Really impressive, katzeimsack... if you wanna hide the mirroring without adding anything else, i guess you could just move some vertices around on each side to make it less obvious. or do what scooby and ferg suggested. can't wait to see him finished! gonna animate it?
Brome-Marine: Ah, but she has tribal looking tatoos. http://mshirow.free.fr/PosterBooks/S1_03/S1_03_Back.jpg LOOKING is the important part. Yes, they're curvy lines, coiling around each other, but aren't traditional tribal. Look more painted on....by a robot. Also, she doesn't look vertically stretched enough. Stupid…
[ QUOTE ] psyk0 - he looks great. I think he could stand to be just a tad bit wider... not enough to ruin the gaunt look you're going for, but right now he looks a bit too vertically stretched. [/ QUOTE ] Agreed, i really followed the reference closely, probably had some distortion in it. Glad you like .
thx! i just cut the rock in 2 parts, bended each part to make them looking pretty much straight, ajusted the vertex position at the border and merged them. Duplicate that part again and ajust the vertices at the border to make them match. i usually don't write that much on this board because of my english but i hope it's ok
Tennis.. that is truly bad-ass! I think what you need to do to that front end to make it more aggressive is move the headlights out the edges of the fenders, give them a pointed top (either coming together /\ or to one side |\ ) and then widen that grill out plus give it a curved top /---\ with fewer but wider vertical…
aniceto: Awsome work man, I'm becoming a fan of your work Looking good gir. I would work up the hair tex. a bit more. maybe some more broader vertical strokes and/or a stronger highlight up top. Oh and I would add another row of edges to her chest to soften the side profile. She's lookin kinda sharp atm. Very clean work…
Geezus: also the Hips need a little swager with each step. Its very nice motion overall, but seems to be missing a lot of subtleties. You do have some secondary motion, which makes the anim pretty believeable, but if you add in things like the hips and shoulders actually moving the limbs into the stride I think it will be…
i'm trying to pose my spiderman low poly model (look at the low-poly thread). this is my first time trying to rig a character and i'm facing... lots of trouble :P for instance: i can't select some of the vertices in the physique modifier (they look exactly the same as the others, for example the one on his upperleg) and i…
