thats a neat style you got there Rob, If the aliasing was on I would start to mistake it for a illustration. Anyway I finally lit my guys head on fire.
here's something i started last night.. still trying to narrow down the tris a bit, but i dont think i can narrow them down any longer without getting too minimalistic, however i know that's what we do here.. just seeking a balance and the over all silhouette.. creating this guy from an illustration i did in april.. tell…
thsi is an illustration i did for my sci fi lit class. QuoQuo on the left, and Dondiil on the right. they are from the short sci fi story "feather tigers" by gene wolfe.
you must be having fun there pior why aint it outlining for the alphas? looks odd. I wish they would hurry up and release a version of illustrate for max 9 pronto!
also been doing some stuff in illustrator, some of my first works produced with it, and also some other stuff i've been working on. WIP building (using old plants), new plants, p.s trees suck to model!
hot page! yo makkon, i think a lot of the difference comes from the distance between the eyes and the shape of the eyes themselves. the hips are pretty subtle on the mesh and i would get em closer to the illustration to sell the female look. really cool sketch!
A project for my 2d class to demonstrate depth or something like that. We could do it in any painting medium we'd like, so I chose illustrator. Fun stuff,Still needs work of course. I think I'm also going to add some arms to it.
Been doing a few environment design models for The Codeine Chronicles. Its just to get a 3D reference shot that I can then work up final illustrations for, they aren't game-intended though when I've spare time I'd like to do them up in UE3 format.
This was my first project I did after finishing an illustrator course. I failed my last interview cos my skills were rubbish and was determined that it wouldnt be the cause of another failed interview.
