Hi guys, My WIP for now, I think it's close enough but I must spent more time with this work, glass it's tough theme for me. Feedback welcome like always:)
WiP image #1: Going for some horse-trampled mud. I'll be adjusting the rocks a bit and add twigs. The color also needs more work. What else do you guys think is missing?
Hey guys, Here is my first WIP for the ornate door challenge, I think the height map is starting to shape up ! I decided to stay really close to the reference for this one. Feedback welcome as always :)
Hello community, I discover the challenge, good idea! Very interesting materials. There is the wip of my copper material, some parameters are exposed (verdigris, dirt, dots number/intensity, scratch, ...), see you soon for the final version.
Think I've done here, didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. Tried every colour scheme under the sun and nothing clicked at all. Somehow I much prefer my first WIP :S
Decided I'd go with a golden coin for this challenge. Still a WIP. Gotta figure out how to mask some coins for color variation in the tiled version(not using the tile nodes because I couldn't stack them on top of each other).
Hey all, It's been a while! Hopefully can get back into these challenges again :) Here's my Industrial Windows WIP, need to work in some more dirt between the frame & glass, and then finish the metal frame. All C&C welcome!
WIP on the window. In the polishing stages now, not sure what to make of it to be honest or what to do with it next. I think the metal elements need more work especially. The frosting is a bit extreme too. Feel like there needs to be more contrast in general.
more WIP, is this going more in the direction you were pointing me towards with the more saturated ground mud and less saturated 'heaps'? @Eggfruit Still got to work on my microdetails. I turned the pebbles into random little bits of 'stuff', might try and bring pebbles/stones back into it later.
