Hey, Enpremi! Thanks for the good questions - there's really no difficulties that I'm aware of. It's a lengthy beta process precisely because we'd like to ensure that Suite 2 does not tread where Suite 1.8 did. If we released now, of course, you would see a huge improvement - but there's enough issues in the software to…
Nop, nothing happens. While painting, nothing appear on the mask. however, no problem when painting directly in photoshop view. brush is just not active in the ndo 3D view.
Truthfully, the only reason I even have the DDS tool for Photoshop is for Nvidia's Transmogrifying Textures, Volume 1, from like 2003! There's still some decent stuff in that texture pack.
Can't wait for this update! But take your time of course. Quality over quantity. I am interested to see how your new painter and baker will compare to Allegorithmic's painter and baker. The one problem/advantage that I see with Quixel is the fact that you guys are tied to Photoshop while Allegorithmic uses their own…
Would be great if you could use the dDo painter to just paint diffuse and in addition to have a colour picker hot key like photoshops alt so I could use quixel for stylised projects
Doesn't some of the bugs or issues with 1.8.xxx come from photoshop updating their software, changing api's ect... Won't their always be conflicts with 2.xx.x in that aspect of it? Or does Adobe calibrate changes in code and api's with vendors who make plugins for them?
oh that is a huge disappointment. :( it seems that you should give a warning out about not full compatibility with Photoshop CS3,CS4 and CS5. also 2 Month ago Quixel said under the Quixel SUITE 2.0 Revealed video on youtube*, it would be compatible... *Link here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ugVuyCXjss
My wait is over. This turns into a pure vaporware. How many peoples work on Quixel? ONE? You guy's cant even afford a forum? This years considering this is an addon for Photoshop, should be at least 20 updates, but no.. Promised 2.0, no thanks. Seriously, you insult all customers with you attitude, don't wait for community…
Im curious how much involvement Adobe has had, if any in the evolution of Quixel. Like have they fixed certain things on their end to make the Quixel Suite operate better, i can imagine having a software heavily reliant on Photoshop can have its limitations and problems, or has it just been work with whats been given to…
