Hey guys, as a student I'm really happy to get the chance to participate in this contest! Here's my entry and my Texture Presentation! ( OMG you guys are so good at this xD )
Here is my entry. Thanks for the chance to enter the contest. I forgot to select the settings correctly so i ended up having a gloss map. I hope that doesnt effect to much.
Thanks for creating this contest. Was fun to join in, good exercise. Two things were new for me, working with Albedo/Metalness and trying to make something look as if it is behind glass/transparent material. Not 100% happy with the latter...
Hey guys ! Here is my entry ! ;) It was my first time using the quixel suite ! I love it ! Going to buy it even if i don't win that contest ahah ;) Gg guys there are some great works showed here!
That's it Guys ! I will check if there are any edits, and will re-look at my decision if there is. But the Contest is now CLOSED ! If there is nothing new i will post the Results in a few moments ! EDIT lol that last one was close, im looking at it right now.
I had a Blast ! thanks Quixel for sponsoring the prizes ! I think a regular thing would be quite fun ! And gets more people involved in Quixel. i think a lot of people in the contest used quixel for the first time and fell in love with it !
Thanks Eric for the Beta Access as Prize ! That should give people who already own Quixel a good incentive to join the Contest! I have edited the Post with the Prize changes ps. Thanks Ladygrace for uploading the files to mediafire, i added the links to the main Post
What what what?I won something? Well I didn't see that coming :) Thanks for the contest pleasure it was a great idea and I had a lot of fun texturing the grenade. I'm absolutely stoked about the freelance licence! edit : shame on you for not playing Bioshock ! :)
Im only semi-interested in this contest now that i realize i WANT to give you guys money for this awesome software! You deserve it. I want create the 40 miles worth of Mines of Moria in AAAA quality and a hundred other things in my lifetime, not be lost in basic colors and shapes in photoshop, etc.
I have a feeling that its going to happen soon :D, maybe right after this contest ends xD. I dont get it you said that we can play with the normals but not the mesh, so can we change the high res mesh just to project normals or do we have to do it using Ndo only ?
