@passerby We are working on the CLI at the moment. It has the same functionality as the UI and will be releasing it with version 1.3.1 this week. It requires a MB Studio license on the node to run it as it's targeted at pipelines.
I'm running into an issue where my GTX 1070 at the office won't bake anything but a blue flat normal with MightyBake. I get an error using xNormal as well on the latest drivers available.
@linewmanill - I'm sorry to hear that. Are you running on Mac or PC? Are you using Maya or Max? If you're comfortable with it, you could post the files and I'll see if can figure out the crash.
commandline tool can only bake one map per process call?(Eg, I have to run the command with options plus one map type, then run the command again after to bake another map type, unlike the GUI?(perhaps that's how it runs under the hood?) I'm also having an issue with commandline tool "-search" flag, "closest" as a value…
@Xizu thanks for posting your specs. It should work. Let me do some research and I'll see if we can get you up and running. Feel free to e-mail me at info@mightybake.com if you want more help. Rob
hey folks, I'm really sorry about the license server issues today. Our ISP force updated some of our website and it caused some issues. It should be back up and running, let me know if you have any more issues.
@JedTheKrampus Thanks for the suggestion.. I've got it up and running on Linux. It's a little bit slower than the PC version, but that will improve as i fine tune the CPU / compiler options. I will post a version up on the site soon. It will be a preview, but still work with all the existing licenses.
@mightybake ...and make sure you DON'T use Clang-3.4, unless you are looking for heartaches. :) We had enough problems with that specific version when getting UE4 to run in Linux, specifically in Arch. It took weeks to isolate the issue to the compiler and not the engine code. Meh.
We've received a few support requests for people running windows 7. There may have been a system update that has adjusted some settings. We've posted a quick tutorial if you are having trouble activating or using you license on Windows. http://www.mightybake.com/license-issues/
@MeshMagnet - at the moment no. I am working on curvature maps right now. I could probably get the thickness and cavity maps up and running faster but curvature maps seem to be more in demand, do you have a priority? Also, what do you mean by direction maps?
