how do you work? do you use refs? what kind of refs? basemesh? i think for a beginner thats even more important cause most if not always its the way we do it. if you use the right "tools" you should get better results too :)
Alright guys, took a couple of days of, not on purpose though. Got a little bit done tonight... and what it might look like... A couple of things here. I f*%&*&5 hate eyes! I can't get the size right when I'm placeing spheres, I can't get the eyeliids and shapes right. I can't get my clay to work and fold where I want…
Hey, guys! I finally made some time for maing some adjustments on the specular... I think yeah, you were right, it looks much better than that shiny version I did before... I'm pretty sure now, I can call this one done (for my level of expertise of course!)
As far as I know, and in a very non-technical way of speaking, Spec is for the intensity of the highlight shine, and gloss is for making that shine more or less sharp (the whiter the gloss map, the sharpest the highlight). I think you are right... it's kind of shiny all over... I'll give it a quick try during the week and…
@Busterizer In my personal opinion its best to use muscles as a reference for modeling parts of a figure. Its a lot easier to make the form look right when you do that. I've been a lot more busy at work lately so progress is slow for me, i see no reason i won't be able to complete this in time though. Should have something…
Look good there guys. @Busterizer Make sure her thighs follow the form of anatomy as well. Can't tell much right now, hard to see. @Sunn I think you're doing nice thus far. Interesting take on his face :) You can look up Asian eyes for reference. Try using Pinch brush around eyelids sometimes work in my case.
@skodone you are right, It shall be done. @Fefs thanks darling! And I think after this pretty girl is done, I'm off to the Guns challenge! There is an even prettier babe to work with over there ;) @pyrsern Damn good work baking the normal and occlusions, All details are there, pretty nice! Did you use a cage for baking and…
@garriola83 Thanks man! I will work more on his face like you pointed out. And really nice ref there. @Nevermind1567 I suppose so, yeah. Kinda Asian looking wizard dude :P Though I'm not really good at hitting likeness at all :P @Fefs Weird. I never got polypaint/vertex baked in greyscale before. You sure you uncheck the…
I want in this month! I am going to work on League of Legends Zilean at mid res. Will, fingers crossed, complete and render inside UE4. I had a feeling Zilean was going to be one of the choices, from the voting thread, so I started working tonight. Here is where I am so far. Still a ton left to do of course, but I'm trying…
I finally finished unwrapping uv's for this thing, it took way longer than I expected. Hopefully I won't need to do much fur in for my models, this one was a nightmare to unwrap. Next up texturing and baking and I will call this one finished. It probably won't take me much. @PyrZern No bad, better than I thought it would…
