I just wanted to pipe in to say that your new faces and studies are coming out incredibly well, @Shyralon; Especially those that you started as a dynamesh sphere exercise. These are really inspiring to see!
Sculpted a lion skull as a little anatomy practice and because I wanted to do something different than just faces. Sculpted from a dynamesh sphere, still a little rough in some areas.
Worked some more on the face - put her into Marmoset and started working on the skin. Currently no color variation in the albedo and no map for subsurface scattering, will follow later. Hair is just fibermesh exported to Marmoset right now.
Some more progress of the characters I made for our semesterproject. First Character is Infantile, second one is Reason. Textures are still WIP, especially for Reason. Also the glowshader on reasons face does weird things.
Crazy improvement. That's a very well spent 3 years of work :) You still can learn a lot about face anatomy and if you haven't already, I suggest getting some 3D scan and using them as references only. You can just pop it in your zbrush file and move it on the side while sculpting, after a while your brain will make a…
