Im having trouble making these yellow walls look right. I didn't do an AO or reflect pass yet but I think I have problems with my texture outside of that. Any ideas?
Hello everyone. Got my basic Blockout about finished. Tried to get the proportions as close as possible. Anything I should adjust? EDIT: Other than the door on the right, must have missed that. :\
Well. It's more limitation of how decals are implmened in what I'm usign right now (but I can't talk about it yet). Because none material tweaking I tried helped. it's issue of how decals are blended into underlaying surface.
oh thank you so much alex, i just cant get the shaders right. Here are the floors sheets in jpg As for the Lighting should i just be using 1 dominant directional light ? Then the rest are lit from indoor lights using basic light and emissive
Didn't have much time today. I did a quick blockout. Will try to do some more this weekend. Right now the corridor is too long and to broad. I also think I'll need to make the ceiling higher. As for around the corner I'll be doing the same as Fizzly, put another door there.
Just started yesterday evening..so a little late to the party(been studying textures/modeling methods etc) But this is what i have so far, trying to get my proportion/perspectives right. don't know how to go about modeling those smaller pipes attached , I'll figure it out though.

Right now it's a lot of sign for a few small words. That and the grate hole feel too evenly spaced with the metal. It makes it feel a little like a checker board. Other than…
@ArtisticTiger: Too bad, but there's always a next challenge ;) @Serriffe: Don't have much to comment on, your progress looks great, I especially like the feel the ceiling lights give the scene. @Fizzly: You're absolutely right, going to add more detail there. Good point about the scale. Also very nice progress with the…
Awesome progress everyone. I'll have an update up sometime this week. @RobertHedlund - I've just been using "render to texture" inside of 3ds max to bake the high poly mesh down to a low poly mesh, or down to a plane in some cases. @Andre.Jonsson / @keosar - Very nice benches you two have there. I love your normals and…
@Serriffe - Thanks and thanks for the tip :)! @Xerafel - Thank you! Your scene is coming together nicely. Also nice colors. I like your yellow especially (hard color to choose, for me atleast). Good luck with the texture, looking forward to it :)! @Andre.Jonsson - :(! That's a shame.. You were going into the right…
