Zug Zug, nice work man! A fun project at work. Redo/upgrade one of the mobs for our game. Will go in at some point and paint some small details cracks and highlights. The top image is Marmoset the bottom is Maya viewport. 512 Texture was used. Cheers
I agree with him. With decent UV's, this would look identical on a single 1024 map, perhaps even 512. well, you would lose the small bolts on the green bands, but that would be it :) It's a really nice pose. I like that you go through the effort of actually presenting it :)

I just wanted fast reliable compression that would be compatible with everything. should I have taken them lower or left it higher? would .tiff or .png or .targa be worth it? the main texture should probably only be 512 or 1k if it were used in a game, but I think my use of tiling/repeated elements would…
