you can use Channel Blend node to get what you want, go to http://acegikmo.com/shaderforge/nodes/ and the scroll done to Channel Blend to see how to use it. you can use a color node to "toggle" rgb channels individually.
Beta 0.29 is now out! This is (again) possibly the last beta before SF goes 1.0 :) New in Shader Forge Beta 0.29: You can now Undo and Redo! As a result; you now need Unity 4.3.0 or later (Previous minimum was 4.2.0) Added node: Posterize. This node will turn smooth gradients into stairsteps Added node: Relay.…
That would be the Parallax node :) http://acegikmo.com/shaderforge/nodes/?search=Parallax Check out the parallax example shader if you want a usage reference!
This looks awesome! Thanks for creating this! I do have a few small suggestions: 1. Make every node moveable (this is a small nuisance in UDK where you can't seem to move the last/end node). 2. Make it possible to enter constant values directly in the nodes without using new nodes every time. Here's an example from…
Thanks for that. Seems there's a bug with my install of Shader Forge. I'll report it here, but if you'd prefer me to submit it elsewhere, or with system info, let me know. I'd tried using the Add node to plug into the UV input of the 2D texture node, but it wasn't letting me. I'd drag it, but the connection line would…
Use the world position node, and append the R and B channels, and plug it into textures as UV coordinates. You can also use the Y channel as t-value in the lerp node, after passing through a clamp01 node, in order to blend between two colors based on height.
awesome stuff - would it be possible to create material nodes that interface with the particle system, similar to udk's dynamic parameter node? or is that going to be beyond the scope of this project?
Glad it worked out :) Also, a small, but important update: Shader Forge Beta 0.36 is now out! Nodes such as the Normal Direction node and the View Direction node, now have a visual representation instead of being black The internal assets of Shader Forge are now no longer in a Resources folder
