Worked on a stylized monster skull tonight, some references from here but mostly anatomical nonsense. Also my first time working with Zbrush's best preview render.
yaxx: You should have the lions teeth sticking into his skull and blood dripping down over his face... Just saying... :) My latest concept, really proud of this one:
Really really cool did you paint the blue light on the skull on a separate layer and animated it? and did you split the background (space), chamber and character in separate layer to make the blur work that well?
Okay, so I finished up my little skull chest project. Fixed up some modeling and had to remodel, rebake, retexture probably about 4-5 times... ugh. Anyways, creative critiques very much welcome. And if none, I'm off to the contest.
This is the first time I've ever made a model bigger than 2k tris, and pretty much the first time I've sculpted. Some nasty seam issues and the texture is placeholder, but a really fun learning experience! Its a Kaiju skull from Pacific Rim. [SKETCHFAB]775773a958254956890ff08a8a761aa5[/SKETCHFAB]
"Little" thing I was working on these last days : I wanted to have a good look on this skeleton, I didn't expected to go so high on the polycount. This one is made of 30K triangles. The retopo was the worst part to do. Damn, that was very long ! Skull : Diffuse 1024, Normal 512 Body : Diffuse/Normal 2048.
Wow, I go away for a day and already another page full of amazing art, nice work everyone! Calling the HP done, its not amazing but I've not used Zbrush in a long time :( (ignore the fact some sections are duplicated and not flipped... I forgot to do it :X the skull lacks teeth but they are in a seperate file for now :) )
