Working on learning Zbrush. Attempted a few head sculpts so far, this is the first one that I really feel good about the progress of. Everything is from a sphere and dynameshed.
It's not but I guess there's a little bit of influence from pixar characters (including brave). That's the quality I'm aiming for at this point. Right now it's pretty rough and a lot of dynamesh. Next step on the body is to make retopo the body and crisp where it needs to be and smooth where it doesn't using proper edge…
hey guys! heres some speed sculpt from sphere in Zbrush using dynamesh and Zremesher hope you like them feedback welcome http://pierrebenjamin.cghub.com/ http://pierrebenjamin.tumblr.com/ http://pierrebenjamin.com/
Seriously?! My machine can only manage ~3mil across all subtools before it runs out of RAM and either refuses to perform any resource hungry tasks like Dynamesh, or just crashes.
Had a bit of time to block the rest of the body in. Still working in Dynamesh, which is lovely for trying ideas out as you sculpt. Once the major proportions and shapes are defined it'll be re-topology and working in the details
From sketchbook www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=118636 Learnt more about IM curves and dynamesh merging And a short vid of some of the process. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-RPF2QS190"]Zbrush #5 - Jewellery Box - Timelapse - YouTube[/ame]
Still working on my character a bit. I'm loving these newer ZBrush features that I'm just now trying out. Dynamesh is the bomb! Actually makes ZBrush a viable complete project workflow product - to me anyway. I always used ZBrush as a supplement before.
Working on a merman cthulhu based on a painting from Karl Kopinski, a truly amazing painter. Hope to finish this sculpt and then texture it if I get the time. Finally had the chance to play with dynamesh and new zremesher, and insert brushes. :) Feed back is welcome. http://karlkopinski.cghub.com/images/page:2/
My 1st attempt using dynamesh from a sphere, surprised it's turned out this well to be honest as I didn't even have reference for most of it, probably shows to those more experinced though. Would anyone mind doing a quick proportions check before I go further with this?
