Working on putting together a base mesh for Sumia from Fire Embelm: Awakening. I really need practice sculpting/high polygon modeling. I should probably start a thread.
MDiaz Love it! Makes me think the leaves are fire or something. Might be cool to place the whole scene inside a tornado style thing and have debris and wind swirls around the tree so it's like a freeze frame.
in fact if you were to redesign the handle to split in two rather than trigger / trigger guard (basically like a hand help stapler) then as you punched and your hand impacted it would automatically fire could be a cool variant
I've been working on these 2 game characters for my last term at Gnomon, here's what I have for the final shots. The concepts belong to Ubermonster + Francis Tneh. Thief is rouglhy 14k poly, the fire magey is about 30k.
Been sick for the majority of Christmas week, BLEH! Finally got better and decided to practice some hard surface modelling. Decided to do the most commonly practiced asset to create, a fire hydrant! Bend-modifier saves many lives
Nice Dan, Jaco, Fight, Haz, Fire, and well everyone. This thread is so much more intimidating than last years already. Here's some Supes progress, still a long road ahead. Here's a p3d link: http://p3d.in/VepG6
This heavy craft is in the lockdown position ready to fire the main cannon. Main mesh for final game project for my game dev school. Designed by myself, so it would be awesome to get some design critiques as well. Still new to this, thanks much.
currently project; guardian of death. back story; death is kind of like a 8y/o little girl too busy in her own little world to pay attention to what's going on around her. so she needs a bodyguard. enter this guy. missing; weapon yeah not posting that at the moment. alpha cards are also not loaded in this image. oh and he…
That last page page is on fire!!!!! Bit excited. @reaxion love the atmosphere! @Joshua Stubbles not normally excited by that kind of stuff, but that is some phenomenal rubble. @Stefan_Martens great proportions and design. @afisher amazing. Your stuff lately is just some of the greatest character art I've seen on this forum.
@St4lis: Cool game, it'd be cool if you could 'deploy' your tank to give you more control when using mortars, perhaps give a little rotation/faster fire rate but a cooldown on deploying/undeploying? Just an idea. @WarrenM: Cool test, I'll have to try that sometime.
