I would recommend a dew more loops of the action, bringing the camera closer to the action and rendering out a cleaner looking image. The action looks pretty clean, but its hard to see it fully in two seconds, 8 would be better
Here's my 2nd attempt on loop fight animation, did try to improve this time. I didn't track the overall time taken for this. The frame rate looks a bit messed up after converting into gif. Critiques n comments r welcomed :)
E_ensey - looking good :) was looking at those rigges the other day. Having thoughts to buy that kit :) Can you recommend them ? Stephen! You have inspired me to try make a battle animation loop! It´s hard and annoing xD But at the same time really fun :) Here is a WIP on it. Pls everyone, I would really enjoy some…
An idle with another DOTA 2 rig, I think the loop happens too soon, but next time I'll make it longer.... also, I don't know why the lighting flickering... EDIT: Also, if me posting all these big gifs is killing anyone's load times let me know and I'll start linking instead!
These are great for 20 minute animations, you don't seem rusty at all! They loop smoothly and especially the more polished versions have weight and personality. I myself used to have plenty of 3D animation courses in university from which I graduated this year - I appreciate seeing an animator sharing works like this here…
Was looking for an object rig and found this flour sack one which I had fun with (for some reason my gif on the web has a quicker frame-rate then when I view it in Maya, any ideas why? I did render the images together in PS on 24fps) Download it here if you want a go:…

@ $!nz when creating walks or runs that are to be put into a games engine you do it as a cycle, on the spot. Lets say a basic walk cycle is a step a second (Thank you Animators survival kit!) you would animate 2 steps equaling 60fps (if you use the default) thats 30 frames per step. Then in the game engine there is usually…
