That could be a problem with your internet connection, try not to download anything (or watch youtube videos etc.) while uploading the files. Also try renaming your file when resubmitting.

Yeep, tried that. And the geometry is defently there. Also i havn't done the animation yet for the ward. So currently just importing the same file renamed for each of those. But im pretty sure affect it at all?
ok .. you dont need to change materials/models/heros. you just import, then copy the 3 files (mdl, vtx vvd ) on models/items/yourhero to models/heros/yourhero rename the old ones to something else, or delete them and rename your 3 files to the former ones, replacing them. Now the game will read the mdl and will be pinted…
Just rename your output filename, i use something easy, like test1...30, to test my stuff. And don't forget to clean up your content folder, because everything you compiled is still there!
Are you pointing to he Alien Swarm sdk? you need to rename the .dx90 to .dx80 on the file extensions. I have also found i need to leave the output folder as the default documents folder, otherwise it has issues.
Try renaming your submission's filename in dota every time you tweak the masks and import. The submitted files will not update unless you change the output filename in dota. You're not the first person to recommend this, I'll definitely give it a try.
I don't use that program but I'm going to guess at either a problem forming the vertices going from MDL to SMD with the StudioCompiler (Did you do the renaming thing? Has anyone figured out how to look at compiled models in the Dota Reborn model view? I tried placing my models (renamed to original equipment names) but there are a lot of new folders, not sure where they should go. (they work in old dota2)
