Hi I'm newbie here. I'm trying to import my item(naga sword) to dota 2 but it throw me this error. engine error [file name] : node error : joint 9(sword_R) has invalid parentId (8) I try to search google but it no luck, hope anybody around here can help me. sorry about my english.
Thanks, Mark. When I try to import the reference SMD, DOTA crashes and throws up a node error: unexpected node id 14, expecting 12. Hard for me to figure out which errors are on me, and which are on max/Dota

For those that have imported couriers, I'm getting the error "ERROR: Failed to find an attachment point bone named: root_JNT I chose the root_JNT bone and put that into the text field asking for a hit location bone. What am I doing wrong?
