Is there a simple way to find out whether or not a hero has their alpha channel enabled? Aside from loading a model in the workshop to test it. Unless someone knows specifically, the hero in question is Wraith King.
had that feeling, still love it, you went with the right one..... HOLY SHIT GUYS Heroes updated or newly enabled on the workshop - Earth Spirit, Ember Spirit, Storm Spirit, Gyrocopter, Pudge
Quick question guys, I remember reading that all heroes would have alpha transparency enabled at some point. Does anyone know if that has come to pass? or if Death Prophet has it at least. Thanks,
You have to enable "ignore per-vertex-color" in the high poly tab when baking occlusion. Only disable it when baking vertex paint. It's a bug on xnormal:) Edit: Assuming you are baking in xnormal
I'd personally rather see you guys do a bunch of keeper of the light sets. But that's just me. But yeah, slark probably is best choice for the contest, as he is the most popular of the recently workshop enabled heroes.
In theory, all of them have alpha enabled, except for some abilities (specially the ones that aren't available yet lol) You can always check the .vmt files. Edit: So we've heard that Puck is available...
i dont know if that is you problem, but the opacity just on the max values, like 100% or 0% you need to have an alpha channel on your texture and you need to enable $aplhatest 1 on the vtm file Cheers!
Hello, i need some important help! I can't make my particles visible trough the built-in particle system. I've made this antimage set and need the particles shown. Is there any way i can enable them on? Thanks in advance!!
Bump set 100, click, add normal map, then add your mask. You may need to flip Y channel (green) if the normals look weird. Then you need to enable hardware shading, The cherker icon witht he lightbulb needs to be pink.
Do a Find in Files in Notepad++ for all the VMTs in the heroes folder, look for "$alphatest 1" and that will show you all the vmts with alpha enabled. I know it was added for Queen of Pain shortly after they said they were adding alpha to heroes. She didn't have it before.
