Hello everyone! I have been working with this tool for a few months, mostly on our internal projects, and I think it's time to get it out there. It's still in development so feel free to suggest any additions or alterations. It can easily be altered to accommodate 3rd party packages such as other UV-Packing/Unwrapping…
I am not an expert in current Mari. I mostly used its Steam 6 uv tiles limited version. So might be wrong about modern one I only dealt with trial recently. From what I know Mari couldn't use different UV channels. . In Mari you could use UV scale/multiplication feature to make certain layer be tillable from same unique…
yep TexTools reads out the smoothing groups and create UV shells based on that - which is a great start to unwrap. The opposite should be possible as well, I will have a look at it later and see if I can wrap together a quick script that does it the other way around. In TexTools its the subscript…
Oh! Well when you said Ape Escape, you didnt say that you meant the second one. The first one is indeed for PSX. And PSX often makes for en excellent example because their hardware was very limited compared to moderns stuff, so they had to get creative with their approaches; and sometimes their solutions were the best and…
Why did the situation escalate so quickly, in under 5 minutes? Were the zombies trying to get back to work and this was their lunch break? How come half of the people are getting killed by single driver vehicles in mass, especially law enforcements? Do they have magnets? What are people running from in the first place, in…
Sorry for the bump guys, I've been following this thread for a little while and it's become my go-to source for anything POM Decal related in UE4, so I figured this was the best place to post. Not sure if anybody saw Josh Van Zuylen's Foundary 42 Art Test, he posted it up a few weeks ago and it's absolutely stunning.…

Pimpin&Previews should really be called "rip my art apart and tell me how to make it beter" but the name is too long heh. Most of…
Yup, this is where I work. We are hiring temp work for the holiday rush. At the most it might last until Feb. Now for the bad news. (as if a short contract wasn't bad enough) I think they filled all the open slots already last week. I will check tomorrow. You might want to send me your resume "markd at atari.com" so I can…
Ok I believe I got most of those bugs and some others I found all fixed! Found a better way of detecting if the edges got flipped by max so that should work. I also added the functionality of splitting it 50/50 if ctrl is held down. Let me know if you find more. http://www.bryancavett.com/edgeSlice.ms quick edit: found one…
never underestimate the importance of a good contract. Always have a written contract with very specific terms. The Graphics Artist Guild (GAG) publish a book yearly that has a ton of good advice and sample contracts, though be wary they are a bit greedy (so don't go getting your hopes up when they suggest you be making…
