The main issue which pops out at me is how he is holding the gun. He looks to have a very weak grip and his fingers aren't wrapped around the handle. Other than that, the character looks cool.
Agreed - Swizzle and TrevorJ are right on. I hope to have something worth sharing at some point as well. VERTEX #1 rocked btw Ryan. Still trying wrap my mind around all the great info!
There is a normal map smoothing setting in Marmoset. If set it too high it will ruin the normal map so set it to 0.3. For this round i adjust muscle that wrap around the eyes better and and give month some more volume
Been busy with things and finally an update. I plan to wrap this up in the next few days. So far not sure how I should place the vehicles but plan on modeling 1 more. C&C welcome
Aah I remember this one! Nice to see that you are wrapping it up, love the atmosphere! Would also love to see one of those "green desk lamp" to add some focus around the desk. Keep it up!
the seem down the middle is probably from the normal map reaching the very edge of your uv wrap, causing that seam... just reduce the uv's on the texture itself down like .98 on the scale and you should be fine.
Thank you sir. Update on the block in. As a note the tentacles are spread out for the purposes of sculpting and baking. I'll make them wrap around each other after it's baked. The staff and lantern will be split into 3 equal sections.
I'm going to drop this question in with the unreal landscape streaming questions: How hard would it be to have a 'wrap around' world, not spherical, but if you keep walking in one direction you end up where you started?
I say Krita, really good for making tilable textures since it has a wrap mode. It's got some really unique tools in there, like the dynamic brush that can do radial symmetry, fill brush...etc
Hello everyone, The study will be wrapped up at the end of the week and it would be perfect if 10 more people could participate in the survey. There were already a lot of participants from Polycount, thank you for your amazing contribution :D
