Maybe. Id have to give up on everything I love to use the rest of my existence to fulfill a minor fantasy. If i could someday return or communicate with the meatbags back home then its a definite yes
It's really not an mmo at all, that was an unfortunate comparison early on when explaining it that just ended up confusing people. If anything it's a fantasy-third-person-shooter with spells instead of guns. The mmo part was just in reference to the skillset.
Ok, thats was well explained, so if I recreat a Buster Sword without any link with final fantasy at al,l I can even sell it, I can call it by other name, right ??
tnx daphz, your works are maaaad!! i didnt play much whacky games back then but now i really like to rest from the usual sci-fi/fantasy stuff that i do for a living..
Sketchy before bed, starting to think/rough out my next 'project'. I'm thinking big fantasy beast warbringer thing of some sort... I'm open to any other suggestions however :D
Your fantasy about what a career in the games industry will provide is naive. You can do the same work at home and keep your family. My advice is based on personal experience in and out of the games industry.
good job man, i never played fantasy star online but i do remember the art not looking this good. hrmmm maybe im wrong better google it :D great job either way!
I HATE mmo fantasy games. Than we visited arenanet with school. I purchases all Guild Wars games because their art just blew my mind. But I still hate mmos.
I've been replaying the old Final Fantasy games on iPad lately and the difference is staggering. They just throw you into the world. There's not even a damned map. Just figure it out, find the castle/town/whatever, and get on with it! :)
I really don't see it. Maybe if you played WoW five years ago on a crappy computer. Looks quite different now. All I see here is your generic fantasy models and textures.
