just delete poligons from one side? after unfolding and proper layout, bake that all.. and after duplicate this part and transfer along the axis? (and merge the points again) that is the algorithm?
Today's progress on texturing. I Will work more on it tomorrow, and roughness/metallic map left. By the way, do you merge all parts together before exporting to work giver?

I'm trying to do the same, I can retopo it, but merging all the vertices is a pain, the tool linked can save you to do that, but still nothing that works with an animated sim :(

well you model and unwrap one piece, collapse it, (this keeps the uvs you made in the object) and you just clone this object :) then you can merge the objects together and voil
i just make actions up when i start working on a project. very simple just made a action that copys the image merged to a new doc and saves and closes that
Agreed. I think it's much more a matter of our western world view and the way that we seem to put the majority of the worlds population under some vast merged grouping.
Posting to confirm the Canon 50mm 1.8 is extremely awesome. Just mind-blowingly good for the price, I picked up mine about 6 months ago for a mere £50.
