Hey my target guide tab is gone by the utilities tab i used it a few days ago but it's gone now and i really need it haha. I had it in May 2017 but not 2016. Do i need to load it in somewhere?
2 possibilities: Set Color Profile of texture file to RAW (bump and normal maps need to be set to RAW as of maya 2016 or 2017) Set the bump node to Tangent Space

Try relaunching SUITE - it should automatically download a new file in the background to update for compatibility with CC 2017. If this doesn't work, you can downgrade to CC 2015.5 for the time being.
It's my new way of presenting myself in 2017. I no longer want the discussions to be dredged in tech specs, but instead more about the artist and the process of making the final product fun. :)
onionhead - Besides bug fixes don't expect much new with Mudbox 2018 compared with 2017. You can do UDIM with Mudbox, it's the numbering scheme that is different then say Mari.
I just add that Blender will remove the layer system in the 2.8 for a collection system, basically an object could belong to several collections and sub-collections: https://code.blender.org/2017/09/view-layers-and-collections/
