Usually you should not try not to mimic the muscle flows with your edge loops. A more stupid but even grid gives often better deformation results and is easier to weight and generally to work with
looks great to me, though from the vid I have a feeling it's still grid based movement.. :\ ideally this will lead to a full cross compatible Wii U version with appropriate graphics.
love your thread guys. i found this youtube channel that i think might be of use : animation reference http://www.youtube.com/user/endlessreference/videos?flow=grid&view=0
A bit of a tangent, but you'll want to refrain from using small grid patterns on presentation sheets. If you resize the image of the HP barrels you get some very distracting moir
I like it a lot, love the 'pixel' style personally, and I actually like the 'grid' type feel. really depends what you're going for though. I look forward to playing it!
When it disappears press F to frame your mesh. It might just be shrinking down to the grid. I had the same issue as you the other day, and the unify did the trick for me.
Thanks guys-- if it's manageable I'll record it, hadn't thought of that. In the mean time I'm off to go backpacking, so I'll be off grid for two weeks. Don't go anywhere :D
Now this I'd really like to have some feedback on! I added the blurry bit behind the galactic explorer text, and the grid. Do you guys think it looks good this way?
Hello! Thx for the advice, I followed your instructions it seems only one view worked but the grid is missing somehow. The front and side view is still the same. Any more suggestions?
