Thanks a lot guys! Microneezia: Thanks that tutorial really helped a lot. the one learned from only taught me blends:P. Eric: That material sounds really awesome but unfortunately I'm gonna need somewhere in the area of 12 materials on the object. Thanks though.
Hello @Eric Chadwick, Thank you for your feedback. This is a progress after a latest update with a customer. I have added some details in jacket as you were suggesting, since customer asked for that too. Also I have added some pouches as final request from customer. Beside that my plan is also to add something on right leg…
Hey Eric! I understand your interest in wanting to know more about our Gen AI pipeline and where it is used. I hope the explanation I provide answers your query. On using Gen-AI: * We are using GenAI for using our single image-to-3D service and text-to-3D service, which is based on diffusion models. * Our NeRF processing…
"AO seems to generally be used with the multiply blending mode as far as I've seen" That's not true. As @Eric Chadwick mentioned it is meant to be plugged into the AO slot, that's it. Of course one can get creative and feed it into various other aspects of the materials, but that is not the norm/standard way of doing…
I tried this, but there were no constraints that worked for what I'm trying to do. I tried this one and it worked perfectly, thanks. Eric Chadwick and Dihemi, I will try your solutions if something goes wrong with the current one. Thanks for your responses as well.

Hey Boklin, that could be me you describe... 30s, Coder, want to become character modeler/artist! :D ... welcome on the boat ... Although I have not reached my goal yet, i am sure i will! Like @Eric Chadwick said:
Thanks for the move Eric. Also now I have come across another road block; the mesh for the eyes are dark, and i can't seem to correct the tone. I've tried applying different mats and standards, masking, etc, and i'm just stuck.
Thanks Eric, it means a lot! I have since changed the UV's on the arms of the chair so that the pattern aligns properly. I thought I would do a little write up in case anyone else wanted to create a patterned material. :D
Congrats to winners! However mostly thank you r13 and whole Polycount crew for organizing this contest. I know that it wasn't easy to handle this amount of work and keep everything together! Kudos to Eric especially for his hard moderation work during this contest!
