I need help to get rid of the extrude function on the move
gizmo in Maya. Every time I move an object, I accidentally click on “extrude”
and end of extruding faces when I don’t mean too! It’s been driving me crazy..
wondering if there is a way to get rid of this on the move gizmo?
My render box is not here yet and all the render nodes are busy so... To derail the thread but keep it on track I would like to offer up two theories why the PC market is lack luster and limping along. 1) We already talked about how MS raped the PC market in order to steal focus away from Sony and Nintendo. 2) Major PC…
(9/25/22) Hello Polycount. I don't have a big update on this scene really, as I have been busy with a lot of real life stuff lately and haven't worked on the project very much. Development is very slow so far, and I completely restarted the design of the house since the design didn't feel right to me. I am currently…
Hello! Thank you. Heres another progress shot of the block out and conceptualization of possible tileable scale and procedural design. Yes! it wasn't my first choice actually. This was suppose to be a mini scene of the previous post's concepts. But when I tested it in unreal, it didn't felt aztec-ky enough. I guess you…
Nice work man. I like certain pieces from each env but as a whole, each env is somewhat mediocre and lackluster. That pillar at the bottom is fantastic. Even though your env have a lot going on, you should definitely highlight some of the individual assets over the scenes because they speak louder than the entire scenes,…
Looks like a padding issue yeah. A slight bake misalignment has added a row or two of unwanted pixels, which have been stretched out by the padder. No fix except cage adjustment (I've resorted to nudging the vertices before too) or manually painting over the misaligned pixels. The workflow I've adopted is to drop AA…
As a Student of Spark, I have to say it fucking sucks, and its hard. But damnit we need more teachers like him, because people in schools like mine now a days get away with way too much! Then they end up like this guy, but are clueless as to why they ended up that way! The truth is, the people that open these schools don't…
the problem with i7 boards now is that there is a die shrink coming, whether or that means an entirely new line of motherboards to support them is a question, not so much reliability or performance. If you want to keep upgrade in mind, it would really suck if your new motherboard required a flash (that may or may not work)…
I don't really consider Dell's to be good deals anymore than I think apple products are. Try comparing it to a good brand that doesn't spend so much on advertising, like HP. Still my biggest complaint about Macs are the lack of good graphics cards. Laptops are awful in that regard, and to get a good 3d card in the mac pro…
