You don't need any additional software to convert to specular/gloss using DDO. :) Just use DDO's menu --> Add New Map --> Gloss. Repeat with Specular. Export to the target required and you're good to go.
I did I did this 3d character 13 years ago, around 2007. Last year i took the model and add fur to it with hair-farm in 3ds max and some paint over and this is the result! Hair and fur it's hard. You gotta have patience for it. Hope you like it!
