When you install your games to the HDD on the 360 and they magically screw things up? Examples: -Dom in Gears 1 & 2 loses his brain. He refuses to take cover half the time and gets shot up. Seems to be smarter when you play from the disc for either game. -Fallout 3 and Fable 2 are plagued with graphical errors when played…
I learned that Google offers free 1TB Google Drive Storage if you write reviews, answer questions, or upload photos for a total of 200 times with their local guides program. I already like to write reviews and had a decent number of points to start with, don't mind doing a bit of work to save $10 a month. Still $2 a moth…
I'll open it up tomorrow, I haven't seen the guts of the Pro models so I'm a little worried about the size of the solder points. But I may have a better solution. I just realized universal camera battery chargers exist, If anyone uses one for their Li-Ion batteries (camera, phone, whatever) and can recommend a brand let me…
For now a ton of time, hoping to get faster though :) Thanks so much Anya! True, I could have added more optimization. Probably I should have done just a plane for the eyebrows. Eyebrows alone have 368 polys, while eyes 160. Also there's the back of the hair and head & the inside of the body, not only the inside of…
nice. i always black out my avatar, i think that helps with the visuals. for the tuxedo lapels, i would use a interior line and change the fold angle on it. you can set fold angles to either stay flat (180), fold over onto itself (0) or fold back under itself (360) (and those two might be reversed, cant remember which…
The 2nd one is a pretty standard low poly model for Xbox 360/PS3 specs. It'll use normal maps without displacement maps. The tri count and topology is set up to animate well and only have geo where it effects the silhouette. The 1st one is a base mesh for zbrush, but models that will use displacement maps will work better…
I think you should gather more references and use them. Just look at the pelvis. He's backward. Your bones are a bit too boxy, again look at this femur He looks closer to a cylinder than a cube. Same goes for other bones like the humerus who should be a bit thicker And you also should keep in mind that bones aren't floaty…
Sooooo I'm taking a break from this one for alittle bit and then coming back to correct some things I noticed but this is where it is right now :) suggestions are still welcome as always.....I must get stronger....better..faster.....sorry couldn't help it. anyyway <iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/226551940"…
[ QUOTE ] I know how to take high poly to low poly but i couldnt really see the point to doing that on any of these props. [/ QUOTE ] What johny said plus it shows a company you can do it. While your work is pretty solid for what it is I don't really see anything that would be in a current generation (360, PS3, PC) title.…
Theres that crazy Gel-pack type stuff that is in one of the DM space maps in UT3. It's uber slow travel, but offers a cool sort of 360 fighting/traveling style (could manipulate the speed in the volume in the engine though). Might be a bit slow/complex/out of style for this map, but an idea anyways. All I can picture for…
