I'm sure photogrammetry has a lot of research on it: how it came to fruition, why is it being used, examples of current and past games using it, how does it work etc etc.
hey, I have been MIA for the past month because of school, grading etc etc... this thread is looking good... you are definitely providing the illusion of depth. keep going!!
Thanks for all the tips, really appreciate it. Anybody have tips on creating good photosourced normal maps? (reducing noise, increasing noise etc, making a grayscale image etc)
XSI's overall UI, I really enjoy working in everything from the material manager, view port, hotkeys, etc etc, it just makes maya feel messy and dated.
Awesome! i'll definitely find a use for this. I do interior design rendering and this is handy for all sorts of stuff. Pillows sitting on a sofa.. object leaning on a bed, etc etc.
Groovy! I'd kind of like to see some wrinkles/folds etc in some of the cloth, and maybe stronger spec hilights on some of the metal bits (boots etc). Fun stuff :)
I just dumped all language files except english ones, most of the useless plugins (the basic, required ones are more than enough in most cases), etc etc.
