I'm not an animator so I probably can't give you an kind of critique that'll be particularly useful. I think the animation is perfectly serviceable as it is, just a little on the stiff side. Shotgun's suggestions would probably help alleviate this. I could show it to one of our animators and see if she's got any pointers… -

no it isn't. Unless I'm mistaken this is one of the constant "you can't go online unless you download this mandatory update that can't run in the background" that plagues the PS3. I pretty much only use my PS3 to watch netflix & amazon movies - how dare those services require me to be online to use them! -

Hi everyone, thanks for the thought out replies. I've tried cleaning my system using 3 different softwares as well as opening the case and cleaning my hardware. None of the seemed to help. I also tried updating my maya service packs because i didnt realize i was missing all 4. -

A lot of animation, probably more than there has been for years, is done in North America. With programs like Flash and Toon Boom a lot of studios have brought animation back to in house (or to other north american service studios). That's not saying ALL animation is back, the majority is probably still farmed overseas.… -

Pack your computer/monitor with as many blankets/pillows/bubble wrap as possible because the shipping services are going to literally throw your shit around not caring what's in it at all (I had a few friends at Fedex and UPS working in the warehouses). Also, buy an external enclosure for your HD and just take it with you… -

Haha, thanks everyone! The 5,000 grads was for my entire graduating class. My major (Visual Communication Arts) only had about 80 grads, and we split off after the Commencement service for the degree conferment ceremony. It's great to see a bunch of other grads out there! Here's to all of our hard work paying off. :)
