Get mechanical your fingers will thank you for it. I use a Qpad MK85. I've used brown keys before but I prefer reds. -

if you're making your models to a real world scale.. an average fully grown human eye is 23mm... a little bit smaller for kids, but not much -

You need a concept, or an idea with where you are taking this. Put some story behind it. Is it grown to fit that machine? Is it surgically attached to it? Why is it a pig? -

Looks like a nice mixture of Mass Effect and Halo. I like the brown/orange rusty colour and the blue spots. But I agree on the monitors.
