There is absolutely zero point to waste texture space for a texel density dogma . Decades ago with so limited vRAM that time it wouldn't be even a question. Today more vRAM allows to have this extra "advantage" of equal texel size. But is it really an advantage ? Human brain perceive details not equally. Your sight usually… -

Still trying to fix that , I put the step size to 0.91 and seems quite close but there is still a small minimal gap , not that will be much visible for my purpouse but I wonder how coudl I do to place exactly them to stick one at the other ... well I'm not an expert but a lot of the loops in the body look \/\/\/\/ which isn't good for UV mapping, animating or form. you can see it in the back view where the rib cage looks like its dented in. Actually I think you're holding it wrong, at least not the way its designed for. The "hard edge" side is meant to be where you put both the pinky and ring finger and its not designed for anyone to have 3 fingers on top of the mouse.
