[ QUOTE ] Tasslehoff Burfoot is a Kender, kind of like a Halfling with a slimmer build. More like the body of a child. They are very curious, and don't beleive in theft. They prefer to think of it as borrowing.. or finding.... They are generally adventurers and Theives. [/ QUOTE ]Heh, hey I played D&D when I was younger…

Hey everyone, I appreciate your help! I experimented a bit, but I'm curious about how to achieve the refractions in the glass. I attempted to apply the texture to a flat solid mesh, but it appears too flat. I'm aiming to create the look of glass blocks. What would be the best way to model this? Should I go for a solid…
yes, you'd not be able to read binaries so you'd only be able to roll back (technically you'd could try to remove bits manually with a hex editor but good luck with that) I put anything that contributes to a project and that can't be recreated in a short time into version control. eg. my substance designer files go into…
Hey! The situation in the 3D industry right now is, mildly speaking, not good. There were a lot of factors but I'm sure you've heard about the layoffs and studio closures. What this means is that it's currently very hard to get a job as a 3D artist. I've seen people looking for jobs for way longer than 6 months, so you're…
Definitely looking more like a battleship size cruiser. Only thing I see is that with all the tiny detail you have scattered across the ship, the dark grey hex panels look a little smooth.
most sprites are ripped by switching off layers. grabbing the tiles is a nightmare, as you're just diving into hex of 8x8 pixel blocks and have to cycle the palette around until it looks decent (which it never does)
Hey guys cgtrader says that for a PBR workflow I should upload at least: BaseColor Normal Metalness and Roughness. And in case of a glass material I should add an opacity map. This I don't get. I usually make my glasses with refraction maps in Vray with ior and other options, but why doesn't cgtrader ask for a material…
Hey there, cool stuff you're doing! -The first walk cycle blockout: from the front view, it looks fine except that I find the sword twitches side to side a bit strangely. From the side, the biggest problem is the bip01 isn't moving uniformly. You have it jutting back at a certain spot in your cycle, whereas you want the…
Just messed around with some coloration and (maybe) some gold inlays tonight on the hex tiles. Adding dirt will be my next step, along with getting a couple really worn tiles in there and tell some kind of story.
