this happens to me as well and it's because the diffuse slider in 3DO goes all the way up making it super white, take it down to around 50% and it should solve it. Sometimes i have to reassign my materials as well.
"Scenario: A ugly nuclear devil throws a green lawyer in a tree! You have 45 minutes!" "Scenario: A bouncy flying grandmother races a puzzled green general in a crypt! You have 50 minutes!" Sorry.. :poly142:
DDO thinks that it's random noise in your map, so it gets culled. The solution is to sample that color in your ID map and paint about 20 to 50 pixels worth of it in a UV gutter to bypass the noise filter.
Haven't used udk, crytek, or mudbox on it, but I did play Borderlands 2 for a while on a planeride. It runs great at lower quality settings, but will dominate your battery. Ate through 50% charge in a very short time.
@Obscura This is working, thank you, but at the cost of an increased polycount. Is there any way to do this without increase the polycount? If I had 50 screws, I'd have to add enough intersections to have a vertex point for each screw.
Bokeh is way more taxing because it take way more samples. but they said they optimized many other things. also, differed rending is a beast!!! 50 dynamic lights in a scene. think of the things an artist can do!!!
The thumbnails and large views are nearly useless, because they only increase about 50%. Did you know that for Vimeo you can customize the embedding size? That'll get rid of the size difference between videos and images.
Thanks for the replys guys, now i have an idea of how much i would expect to recive, if i sell them as full licenses i will be selling them for about 50$ each one, or is it soo much?
So what about the mexicans then? and the welshman? and more or less everyone else. Lot's of stereotypes in the game. :) Also, anyone know who pays the most for wolf pelts/parts? I got like 50 on me.... OF EACH :/
Hey man check out my post on what I did for my computer. My stats are very similar to yours so hopefully this helps. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1136448&postcount=50
