Flickr, Pinterest and especially Ebay can be very useful for certain things. Some books have loads of reference that's very hard to find online. Museums are also great if you're willing to put in the effort :)
Go to the museum. They have awesome models of the vehicles they used during the Korean War, besides the real ones. I got back from Korea last October. It was a nice visit. The food is nice too.
Heres a website that has some great pictures of birds wings, good feather references. Seems like you are doing fur, but its good for future reference. http://www.ups.edu/biology/museum/wingphotos.html
the blank wall at the end of the room is where I am going to put the main entrance into the museum where all of the exhibits would normally start. Cheers. Mike
cool model pior.. See this its a bit late but you can use it of reference. more on this page http://www.theclubhouse1.net/museum/modelscreature.htm. good luck .
some of us (like me) typically make a full day of it, heading to london for around 9:30/10:00 ish. then visiting the art museum, forbidden planet etc. others just come for the food!
and supposedly there were batteries 2000 years ago http://www.smith.edu/hsc/museum/ancient_inventions/battery2.html So let's see if we'll see a giant ceramic robot with a massive ancient battery on its back.
