Since the wheat always sways, just a lot less so when the player isn't moving, and the sway happens near the player movements but seems randomly oriented, I think the same shader is always used on the whole field and one of its inputs must be an intensity map. Ok well i updated the drivers and got it working, but not it keeps telling me i dont have enough of a swap file.... but its not even the fucking drive my os is on, which has a swap file of like 2 gigs and this one has one of 1 gig, but programs wont fucking load if im using more than 512 megs of ram(which is all my system…
I wanted an easy way to view (and eventually swap) textures on Sketchfab models so I poked around the viewer API and the texture viewing part turned out to be quite simple to do over a weekend. I remember it being suggest before when we had a polycount what-if-wish-list thread and a lot of people thought it was a good idea but hard to implement. Read: it would cost $$, so buy polycount swag and it has a better chance of happening.

@swag: Thank you for the critic. I tried to get the central wear on the buttons with ddo, but it didnt quite work, so i will manually paint it later today, for the specularity i dont understand what you mean. The "speckle" was ment to be paint which wear off.

@fairlyBread Nice, that sounds like a plan :+1: I think using some tiling trims and re-using texture space would enable you to maintain good/ sharp texture detail without needing to go high resolution.
