To be honest this sounds very unlikely to me (although definitely possible). At Creative Assembly for example we have something like 200+ dev staff and to my knowledge not one of them does only sculpting work.
Thanks. Just to clarify it is okay to have multiple UV islands one the same area with the first texture sheet. An example would be the front and left side walls sit on the brick texture on top of each other?
Well. For example For a long time my system crashed entirely if I had any 3d accelerated app running with flash in background. Or two 3ds apps. Or they couldn't recovery after long time or inactivity.
Yeah an example of what you're trying to solve would help us help you! I've only taken a year of calculus but I understood it all pretty well, I'll help as best as I can :)
Your work is really cool sickleadzdk! :) Are there any license requirements to use your work? I would for example like to use some models for a mod I'm working on but don't want to get license issues... ;)
@Thatsimokid I think the best looking way to model a knot would be to make it as close to the real thing as possible. You could make a knot out of a curve and then extrude it. Like this (little rope thing as an example): to
man there are SO many great myths to explore. pretty much the entirety of Homers work (not Scott Homer) is fantastic... the death of Heracles could be awesome too... even the earlier times, the fall of the titans to the Olympians for example.
Good read. The only thing I'd add is that it can be important when you post your work as well. For example, if I post something to Artstation at 11pm PST, most of the East Coast + Europe is sleeping.
It all depends how realistic you want it to be and what renderer you're using. Are you going with mental ray or vray? Also, if you can show that IKEA example, it would help us help you.
Yeah also, on the Imgur page click on "Get embed codes". Easier than the Insert Image button, you can just paste the BBcode into your message For example: [ img]http://i.imgur.com/CKQOenL.png[/img]
