Looking nice :P that concept is funny He seems to be missing a lot of the wrinkles on his forehead and around his ears. It also feels like his cheeks sag a little more then the concept. I think thats it but im not that great at anatomy myself

I’m trying to rekindle my experience in 3-D modeling and anatomy as well. Thank you for taking time to look at and give me your thought on it. I am hoping to post a update later this week and I hope to hear more feedback.
Your moodboard is cool, but you need some solid anatomy references in there to help get the general face shape in. Once you have the planes of the face, you can push and pull them (within reason) to make her more unique/stylised.
I allowed myself some time off for the holiday season, now I'm back on it! The head and body are retopo'd now, some anatomy issues fixed, now I can start figuring out how I want to layer her dress
Hey there, i did some little progress here. I worked a little bit more on the body to improve the anatomy, to make him more "man" even if there will be clothes on top of it. And i started to block out the clothes and add some details here and there.
@VeryCrunchyTaco Thanks for the crit! I think I want my guy to be a bit thinner than the dude you pulled from the ref board, but your comments on the anatomy and the paint over are very much appreciated. Definitely stuff I can work on

Just managed to finish of this piece, or at least to a place where i can call it done and be happy to move on! I think from this point on, at least for now I'm going to focus more on anatomy studies as im finding myself lacking on my fundamentals.
Yeah i know they are Korean but i was using it as an example of the work i would like to do and i do own some Japanese books as well. I like your idea of creating the background first as the anatomy is very hard to get rite.
