my 2 cents:- You should go in and really work out those seams man.Remember, being low poly doesnt mean that you shouldnt give 150% seam-wise. If you have zbrush or bodypaint, itll only take a couple of mins :) btw i replied about your query on DA :)
Yeah, in pretty much all DCC time is based on the FPS of the timeline. Im positive this is true in Maya at least. If you want it to just play without the timeline you could try to query the milliseconds of the system clock. I don't know how to do that in XSI but I have done it in Maya and fed that into ShaderFX.
T T is the place for software queries! Have you looked at the tutorials that come with Maya? That's seriously the first place to go, all the rest is a crap shoot, never know how knowledgeable the author is going to be. (they had to learn somewhere... was it thru years of dedicated use? unlikely)…

There's a lot of studios in LA, http://www.gamedevmap.com/index.php?tool=location&query=Los%20Angeles A lot of the times even if they say it requires a BA, real work experience is better. You can always email studios and ask them questions about what they are looking for in future employees, most of the time they are happy…
Go ahead and report this asset using the asset reporting feature on the site - this might just be a variation that slipped through, or a variation that we thought was necessary for a specific use-case. In either regard, bringing it up via the asset report feature will allow the scan team to look into your query and see if…
I think you query the name of the window and set that to a variable using the getPanel command. The actual name (think of it like an ID) can vary between scenes and whether or not it's docked or torn off. I know you want to learn it raw, the examples at the bottom of this one are... kind of minimal (lol), so no worries…

Yeah, no script uploaded on your Scriptspot page, just the jpg. Could you explain a bit more what this script actually does? It needs a summary like "This script makes a button for each of the modifiers on an object, so you can activate each modifier in sub-object mode." Or something. What actually happens at this point.…
