Thanks guys! @Stinger88 - cool! try doing an ostrich mech in mid run, or a horse. @knacki - cool man, mechs are fun but like everything they take a bit of practice to get used to, especially if you dont usually draw mechanical stuff.
some figure studies, it's a lot harder for me to get good forms on a tablet than it is on paper. I draw with my elbow on paper, but I can't do that on a tablet without losing total control and all my lines looking like crap.
Thanks for the crits benji! I'm starting to realize I should start out each painting, even if it's a thumbnail with a line drawing of sorts, I keep losing the relationship of things when I go in with a big brush. I'll work on that on the next ones. :)
Yessir, pure oval brush in PS-CS6. Thank you!! I think rendering and stuff is finally making sense to me, still feel clumsy though. But I think I'm sort of ... drawing more than painting it? It's horribly inefficient but it is what it is. -
So this last week I've been on holidays, but I took my notebook and charcoals with me so I could make some drawing if I thought I felt like it. This one I made was requested by a friend. Hope you like it!
really cool sweetman! Currently drawing characters for a short dialogue based game. Did some shitty decisions on mergin some layers in the second image so was kinda limited inhow i could move him without having to rework alot of stuff
Cool stuff guys! Think it's time to give that spitpaint group a try tomorrow ^^ Really like the brush strokes on your stuff makkon, the warghost is wicked cool :) Saw some cool Fightpunch stuff in the WAYWO thread and felt inspired to draw some cyberpunk
@kevlar jens woah! love the stylization. Yeah i know :P i do use a pencil too, used to scann all of my drawings, but i wanted to try/practice pure digital for texturing practice, plus I'm running out of paper lol
Here are some skull studies. Lotsa fun I wouldn't mind some critique on the lines and shading methods; those are areas I feel I'm struggling with. Lots of my drawings are sloppy looking and I'm trying to get a more crisp, professional feel to them :/
After watching the amazing film "Oblivion" i just felt instantly for making some Fan art to a fantastic film! Also great practice since i started to learn how to draw a few months ago so still very much to learn! :) Cheers!
