Wow, thats awesome! This is what I've been dreaming of for the past time. The advantage of photoshop to zbrush method is that we can see the tiling in effect as we paint and that is really awesome! So are you planning of putting this out there?
hi, I'm learning character modelling the brief limit is 3000 tris. it would be awesome if you can suggest me some ways to improve it. (i've tried to keep it all in quads, hoping to play with it in zbrush) the concept
Badguy Blaster from a hawkprey concept: I think it's best as a 3PS weapon, otherwise the CCO up front is awkward for the aim down sights shot. Probably going to take it into zbrush and see how that comes out.
Started to work with Zbrush though i'm fairly new to sculpting i can say it's so much fun and so amazing. Loving the claybrush! :) Trying to make a weathered and old monolith, the inscription means Endzeit :P
I've been lurking on polycount for roughly a decade now. Decided it was finally time to make an account and participate. I recently started teaching myself how to use zbrush. Here's the bust I've been sculpting as I learn.
@richwderby for organic things like this there is actually no real reason not to just use meshlab or decimation master in zbrush to decimate the HP to make the LP. topology doesn't matter much on organic models unless your going to animate them.
currently working on my first ever major sculpt in ZBrush, here's where I'm at so far still got a lot of work to do, and he also needs eyes lol, but I think I'm going in the right direction
Just started a kind-of-alien-creature.....it is annuaki-inspired. did not turned out to look so well, and i think the back-skull is a liiiiiittlebit exaggerated. (the head is just a placeholder-shape.) C&C 4 a ZBrush/Character newbie?
Pardon my french, but no reason to be stuck in 1996 mate. Use a sculpting app (e.g. zbrush, mudbox), and do retopology afterwards if you really need them edge loops. (via 3dcoat, topogun, modo, maya's nex, etc ..)
Loving the work here as usual. Always so inspiring. This is my latest character. Named Vincent. About 22k Tris (intended as a primary character in a current gen video game). Unrigged (pose was done in Zbrush), but otherwise game ready.
