nice asherr, the tips of the fingers are a bit too square tho, maybe pull back the edges of the bottom finger tips so they aren't a 90 degree angle. about 10 min of zbrush: texturing this:
This was going to be Superman but I didn't plan the hair very well like extruding that bit of hair on his forhead in Maya before taking it into ZBrush and I can't go back and do it now. Gash.
So im back here again. I posted this guy before but never really did anything with it. Im back at it again this time in ZBrush. Let me know what you guys think!
heh, its an adaptive skin in zbrush, with really low resolution setting and 0 smoothing. Hawken, I'd be surprised if you did it that way? seems like itd be very tough to match it up with a sprite
First finished model in Zbrush 3 (not my first post). Just posting this thing to say: Where is that infestation of dutch people coming from all of a sudden Making cool stuff too, it's crazy!
Gmanx: Texture resolution a little high there, maybe?! Good work so far though. Here's what I've got in the works... part of a Max model after 15-20 mins zbrushing, currently on 3rd level sub-d ... probably end up about 4 or 5 sub-d's when finished. 40000 polys for the arm so far... source mesh is around 400 i think. just…
Flewda: I baked the normals in Max, ZBrush baked them pretty well but it doesn't have the control over raycasting needed to stop the normals distorting on the ends of the cylinders. Here's my pass on the textures now:
Took a model I had laying around and fooled around with it in zbrush, then did some quick texture work on it. The bump map is pretty bad, but it's not something that's going to upset me too much right now.
Here is my first zbrush creation. Imported a old lowpoly model for this. Pior realy nice, how do you get it so smooth? My mesh has some strange patterns going on O.o
Jaco thats awesome stuff. I'm really struggling with doing Hard Surfaces in Zbrush. Do you know of any good tutorials for doing HS? I've looked but can't turn up anything of substance.
