Working on Steve Buscemi If someone can give critique on my fibermesh(first time using it) and keyshot materials. Atm, I use hard shiny plastic for the hair, skin 2 for the skin, and I'm trying to get a good eye material, but alas. I can't figure it out... The peach fuzz should also be a bit more transparent..
I was fortunate enough to work on a few assets for the Soma game recently released. The textures looked a bit blah now a year or so later so I gave them a Quixel 2.0 beta makeover :) . Screenshots from Marmoset Toolbag 2 with a bit of post in Photoshop! Take a peek at all the assets here…
Howard Day, this is the most impressive work I've seen in a while ! I've been revisiting an old piece (original here). The ground is also made from photogrammetry. I was amazed by the mesh output given that I only shot 24 pictures. I also changed the color from blue to red for composition's sake. Rendered in Toolbag 2
I wanted to try and model a low poly, chibi version of Geralt from The Witcher 2. It was really fun actually. I'm not used to either making chibi characters or hand painting textures like this, but I'm happy with the result. I planned to make him under 1000 tris, but he ended at 1030, so, too bad I guess. :)
This is awesome! Quick (perhaps stupid) question - how do I ensure that it tiles correctly? With basic tiling textures in Photoshop, I always do the thing where you offset it by 1/2 the size and then make it look okay. I haven't tried the tutorial out yet, so there could very well be something in ZBrush that does that for…

It was ages ago since I worked in zbrush, but now I got inspired to make some speed sculpts. Each one took around 1,5-2 hours. It was a lot of fun to make and I think I'm starting to get how to sculpt the basic shapes at an ok speed now. Also not to worry about all details and making it perfect.
