Ah thank you! Creating a lightmap gives a much better result. There is one more problem though! haha. The Light map is active at a very close distance, but then it seems to resort to a different type of shading when taking a small step back. Odds are good that you're doing arithmetic between a float 4 and a float 3 somewhere? Without the output from the log and a complete graph it's impossible to see from this image what the error is. On an unrelated note, why are you multiplying your green channel by -1 in the normal map 1? You can do that in the texture… -

When you load up the map, go into spectator and then open the console and type these: sv_cheats 1 cl_drawhud 0 The first one turns on cheats and the second one makes it so there are none of the info overlays or heads up display. Pior: When you first bind your mesh to a skeleton, by default there is a little box checked saying "Maintain max weights" or something to that effect. So if you had say max of 2 bone influence, the add influences to the skin, then go back to painting weights you'll loose one of the bone influences. You can get around this… -
