Look at the previous post. Here its version with holosights on carry handle. Shooter's position might be a bit better in my opinion. Maybe a bad name for the thread. But I use ar-15 (that is just m4 and m16 right?) Upper and lower reciver and other parts are custom.
can you be a little more specific. what size screen etc. if you want a workstation class laptop you will have to get 15-17 screen. sager has some of the best quality workstation class designs around without the branding markup. http://www.sagernotebook.com/
Well, I used to get horrible performance in Max after turning "dx display of material" on bump mapped materials (using bump in standard mat instead of using a shader). It would take 10-15 seconds to take an undo step. Don't know if this helps at all...
If you already love bioware rpgs then you must play Jade Empire you can pick it up for like $10-$15 on Xbox live games on demand. Epics martials arts rpg with a solid bioware story and some really cool character and environment design.
I've got a livestream channel up JM3D ignore the 15 minute video, I had my channel open in another window so it's an endless loop! I'm gonna eat some din din and I'll be back at 8 (maybe a little preshow banter before that)
Just a little curious, you say DoD is about 10 hours long? Whenever we clocked it, it was about 15-20 hours(this may have been before the load times were improved, however). Just curious to see if you played through the entire game?
I have an idea for a TF2 weapon, it automatically kills all users with the name MasterGamerKid on the whole level and can be used more than once. Oh, and +15% to critical chance. (But yes, make a model, and then post your idea. And yes, you can make stuff on macs.)
I'm pretty sure I've posted this before, but what the hell. You spend 15+ hours a day in one spot, you feel the need to show it off. I have hip new specs now, so this pic doesn't show off the true me, haha.
I don't find the 5 year timeline hard to believe. I've known game developers with more than that on their resume and no published titles. I consider myself lucky with my track record and as it stands will be doing this for another 10-15 years if I have my way.
Ah ok thanks for the advice guys. I think I'll try to use it atleast 15-20 minutes a day and work on my 2d skills along with texturing skills. Ugh but at this rate I'm gonna go crazy waiting on it to arrive. UPS is so damn slow.
